The Exidor 400 series electronic latch retraction enables panic exit hardware to be seamlessly integrated with a building’s access control system, delivering improved security without compromising safety. From the inside of the door, the touch bar operates mechanically and independently from the access control system. So, even in the event of power failure, users can exit a building fast. But from the outside, our touch bar electronic latch retraction units are wired into the building’s access control set-up. When an authorised person approaches the door, a motor concealed within the touch bar retracts the device’s bolts, allowing access into the building.
