Chubb At Heart’ campaign successfully migrates Chubb locking products to Yale and UNION

Following a successful publicity campaign, the popular Chubb range of door and window locking products have been successfully migrated to the UNION and Yale brands. The campaign explained to consumers and professionals alike that sadly the much-trusted Chubb brand could no longer be used, but that exactly the same products would now be offered under the market leading UNION and Yale brands.

With the exception of the Chubb Locks Custodial specialist range of custodial locks, which will continue under the Chubb name, this change will see the end of more than 200 years of lock production under one of the world’s best recognised brands.

As ASSA ABLOY’s Business Development Director Paul Browne explains, “The Chubb at Heart campaign was designed to communicate to customers that whilst we are sorry to see the Chubb name go, the same products and commitment to quality will continue under the market leading Yale and UNION brands – which our customers also know and trust”

“The Chubb range of locking products that customers know and trust will continue virtually unchanged – except for the name that appears on them. The same quality, the same reliability, the same security – nothing has changed except the name.”

“For more than 200 years people have trusted the Chubb Locks name, and we are committed not only to delivering that same high standard in the future – but to building new and better locking products under the Yale and UNION brands.”

“Although the name is changing, the products will remain ‘Chubb at Heart’”
