UNION C-Series

For almost 200 years, Chubb has been the name behind products customers know and trust, but in August 2010 that name changed.

The same trusted Chubb products are still available, but under the UNION and Yale brands. Chubb mortice locks, padlocks and rim lock migrated to the UNION range, while Chubb additional security products were inherited by Yale.

The products continue to be made by the same people, using the same technology in the same factories, so they remain ‘Chubb at Heart’.

The only exception is a limited range of specialist detention locks used by prisons and other high security installations, where Chubb branded locks will continue to be available through Chubb Locks Custodial Services Ltd.

The changes followed the decision by Chubb brand owner, UTC, not to renew the 10-year licence to manufacture locks under the Chubb name.
